Enclosed Stainless Steel Leaf Filter, 1-200 µm (CAT#: STEM-BC-2898-ZJF)

This enclosed leaf filter is a pressure-operated clarification system using vertical stainless steel filter plates. Multiple sintered-wire-mesh leaves are mounted on a central collection manifold inside the sealed housing. Filter aid can be precoated onto the leaf surfaces to form fine liquid passages before production filtration. Suspended contaminants are retained in the growing cake while clarified liquid enters the leaf interiors and exits through the outlet. Activated carbon can be added when simultaneous decolorization and clarification are required. The reusable stainless steel elements eliminate routine consumption of filter paper, cloth, or disposable cartridges. An automatic discharge mechanism releases accumulated cake after filtration or washing. The compact closed construction reduces liquid loss, operator exposure, and external contamination. The equipment is suitable for oils, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, fermentation liquids, catalysts, pigments, and crystallization slurries.
