The Leica 2050 SuperCut, also known as the Reichert Jung 2050 SuperCut, is an electric rotary microtome.

Leica 2050 SuperCut has an automatic specimen trimming system in advance and an electric handwheel with adjustable cutting speed for higher precision and reproducibility of sectioning quality. The Leica microtome also has an adjustable cutting window, a wide variety of accessories for different applications, and an easy-to-operate control panel.

The flexible Leica 2050 SuperCut microtome offers a programmed advance function of the specimen head to the blade. With low and fast speeds and 0.5 to 60 slice increments, the slicer is capable of adjustable cooling down to -40C and preset automatic 24-hour defrost cycles.
