The LCS-DB-100HC is a semiconductor-controlled dry block incubator for precise sample heating and cooling. It supports incubation, catalysis, preservation, denaturation, PCR-related processing, electrophoresis preparation, and serum coagulation. The operating range extends from 30°C below ambient temperature to 100°C. An LCD presents programmed settings and real-time temperature and timing data simultaneously. Interchangeable magnesium-aluminum alloy blocks accommodate multiple tube sizes and provide efficient thermal transfer. Semiconductor elements and a fan provide active heating and cooling without a liquid bath. Up to ten program segments can be configured independently and repeated through as many as ninety-nine cycles. Temperature calibration, automatic fault detection, and parameter memory improve repeatability and continuity. Dual overtemperature protection and a residual-heat warning reduce the risks of equipment overheating and operator burns.
