The LC-YDS-20C is a 20 L liquid nitrogen tank for long-duration cryogenic sample preservation. Aluminum-alloy construction provides a favorable combination of low weight, strength, and corrosion resistance. The composite neck tube reduces conductive heat entry into the inner vessel. Multilayer reflective insulation limits radiant heat transfer around the storage chamber. A high-vacuum interspace suppresses convective heat transfer and supports low nitrogen consumption. Cryogenic adsorbent materials help preserve the insulation performance over time. The narrow 50 mm opening is optimized for reduced evaporation during prolonged storage. Six round canisters with color identification support organized sample placement. The taller 276 mm canisters accommodate extended cryogenic storage arrangements.
