The LC-CV-430 is an automatic calorimeter for measuring the heat value of combustible samples. It is suitable for coal analysis, petroleum, chemicals, wood, food, research, and thermal-testing laboratories. The system is calibrated with a reference material such as benzoic acid to determine its effective heat capacity. A 4.3-inch color touchscreen presents test parameters and operating information clearly. A modular 24-bit analog-to-digital temperature acquisition circuit supports high-resolution temperature measurement. Low-temperature-drift electronic components improve the stability of test results. Automatic water filling eliminates the need for manual water-temperature adjustment. The instrument can calculate higher and lower heating values after sulfur, hydrogen, and moisture data are entered. Internal memory stores up to 1,000 test records for review, printing, or deletion.
