The LC-S-430 is an automatic sulfur analyzer for determining total sulfur in solid samples. It is suitable for coal, steel, minerals, and related laboratory materials. The instrument is intended for coal, power, metallurgy, chemical, building-material, and commodity-inspection laboratories. A 4.3-inch color touchscreen displays operating parameters and simplifies instrument control. PID furnace-current regulation maintains stable test temperature and helps protect the silicon carbide heating element. Furnace temperature and correction parameters can be entered directly through the display. Electrolysis is switched automatically to prevent over-electrolysis caused by an incorrect startup or shutdown sequence. The instrument automatically identifies the titration endpoint and completes a typical analysis in five minutes. Moisture values can be entered to calculate dry-basis sulfur content, while stored results can be reviewed and printed.
