Description

The inverted microscope YI40 is designed for observation of cells, tissues, transparent liquids, and cultured specimens. An infinity-corrected optical system forms images through long-working-distance objectives. A trinocular head provides visual observation and camera access. A swing-out condenser creates clearance for dishes and tall culture vessels. Transmitted LED illumination supports brightfield and phase-contrast workflows. A mechanical stage positions culture dishes and slides over the objective field. Coaxial coarse and fine focusing provides controlled specimen alignment. The instrument is intended for routine laboratory operation under the stated technical conditions.
