Description

This gel permeation chromatography system is designed for routine polymer molecular-weight and distribution analysis at ambient operating conditions. It incorporates a dual-channel and dual-flow-path high-sensitivity refractive-index detector. Precise temperature control of the optical module, tubing, pump, and degassing chamber supports a stable baseline. The integrated system improves solvent-delivery consistency and analytical repeatability. A 2.5 µL RI flow cell is compatible with semimicro size-exclusion columns. Semimicro columns can reduce analysis time and solvent consumption compared with conventional 30 cm columns. A low-volume vacuum degassing chamber supports rapid solvent replacement and shortened startup. Dedicated workstation software controls the instrument, acquires data, and manages analysis with data-integrity functions.
