FrameStar® 96 Well Skirted PCR Plate manufactured by Azenta Life Sciences features rigid polycarbonate skirt to prevent warping and distortion during PCR. The wells of this low profile plate are shorter than those of standard profile plate, reducing the "dead space" between the sample and the heated lid of the thermal cycler, which eliminates condensation on the side wall of the tube, preventing reduction in PCR volume and increasing the efficiency of the reaction.
