The Nexus X1 Thermal Cycler uses less power than traditional epppendorf Mastercylcer Nexus Thermal Cycler models. The X1 also uses a silver thermoblock instead of aluminum.

The Eppendorf Mastercycler nexus gradient GSX1 is a gradient thermal cycler that supports more than 12 columns. Connect gradients with a gradient range of 4-99°C using an aluminum heat block and 96x 0.2 ml PCR tubes or 77x 0.5 ml PCR tubes or 1x 96-well PCR plate capacity. It has a temperature control range of 1-20°C and a gradient temperature range of 30-99°C. The Mastercycler nexus gradient is a fast and safe gradient thermal cycler.

The epppendorf Mastercycler connected to the gradient GSX1 uses Peltier elements and triple circuit technology, heating the lid to 37-110°C. The lid also features Eppendorf flexible lid technology for an ergonomic lid opening. Block homogeneity ranges from 20-72°C < ±0.3°C, 95°C < ±0.4°C with an accuracy of ≤ ±0.2°C.

The epppendorf Mastercycler nexus GSX1 thermal cycler has a heating rate of approximately 3°C and a cooling rate of 2°C per second and has USB, Ethernet and CAN input/output interfaces. All Eppendorf nexus thermal cyclers have low power consumption, using only 700W during operation.

Use the nexus or nexus gradient as the control circulator to control up to three circulators and up to two nexus GX1e circulators. The epppendorf Mastercycler® Nexus Gradient GSX1 Thermal Cycler is a reliable, easy-to-use thermal cycler with low energy consumption, ideal for routine and routine PCR operations. The Eppendorf Mastercycler can be easily expanded to 3 small units, each with a small footprint, and is designed to fit on any laboratory bench. The Eppendorf Mastercyler® Gradient GSX1 Thermal Cycler has a flexible lid. Flexlid accommodates all types of consumables, from low volume all the way to 0.5 ml PCR tubes.
