Dimensional stability is a very important assessment index of fabric performance in the world. The dimensional stability of a fabric refers to the nature of the material and its potential stress or heat shrinkage during processing, which results in dimensional changes under use or processing conditions. It is mainly divided into dry cleaning dimensional change rate and washed dimensional change rate. The dimensional stability of the fabric is directly related to the accuracy of the size of the piece, the stability of the size of the clothing, as well as the shape and wearing effect of the clothing.
