Nanoplates

Nanoplates are two-dimensional nanostructures with thicknesses in the nanoscale range, typically characterized by having a high aspect ratio. These materials exhibit unique mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties due to their nanoscale dimensions and surface effects. Applications of nanoplates span various fields, including electronics, where they are used in transistors and sensors; materials science, for the reinforcement of composites; and biomedicine, in drug delivery systems and biomimetic materials. Their ability to enhance performance and enable miniaturization makes them crucial in developing advanced technologies, such as nanocoatings and energy storage devices.
