The SX2-6-17TP box resistance furnace is a laboratory heating instrument for controlled high-temperature processing. It is intended for material sintering, melting, heat treatment, volatilization studies, and related thermal procedures. Samples are placed inside an enclosed furnace chamber that provides a defined heating environment. Electrical resistance heating supplies thermal energy to the chamber during operation. Temperature feedback is used by the control system to regulate the heating process. The chamber construction and refractory materials are selected for repeated laboratory heating cycles.
