Description

BF1400 High-Temperature Box Furnace, 1,400 °C, 3-45 L is designed for laboratory calcination, sintering, heat treatment, and process development. The furnace has a rated temperature of 1,400 °C and a documented continuous working temperature of 1,350 °C. Available chamber volumes span 3-45 L. The heating rate is adjustable within 1-25 °C/min. Heating is provided by silicon carbide rods. A programmable PID controller supports thirty temperature segments. Automatic heating, holding, and stop sequences support repeatable thermal programs. Polycrystalline alumina-fiber insulation provides low thermal mass and thermal stability. Temperature measurement uses a S-type platinum-rhodium thermocouple.
