Beckman Optima L-70 Ultracentrifuge, 70000 rpm, model L-70, is manufactured by Beckman Coulter. The Beckman Optima™ L-70 Ultracentrifuge is designed to perform up to 70,000 rpm with centrifugation forces of up to 504,000 g. This Beckman centrifuge employs a microprocessor-based system that improves program storage efficiency and an ESP™ Efficient Sedimentation Program which helps avoid heavy salt precipitation. Moreover, the unit is compatible with a wide range of high-power rotors.
Equipped with a delay start that can be programmed for convenient finishing time, the Optima™ L-70 enables hassle-free run monitoring. Recall and storage of user-customized programs are done with a push of a button, allowing faster run time. Additionally, the accel/decel profiles of the L-70 allow instant customization of operating conditions.
Other features of the Beckman Optima™ L-70 centrifuge include an imbalance-tolerant drive, dual display of “Set” and “Actual” run parameters, and a simple user program with automatic preheating, precooling, dry cycle, and vacuum.
