Beckman Coulter Epics MCL 4 Color Flow Cytometry Analyzer, 300nm – 800nm, model Epics MCL, is manufactured by Beckman Coulter. The Beckman Coulter EPICS XL flow cytometer combines the analytical power of a research system into a compact and ergonomically designed unit that speeds up sample throughput. This model is self-contained and biohazard safe. User-adjustable filter elements increase both flexibility and versatility in research settings.
This EPICS XL flow cytometer is highly capable of analyzing up to four colors of immunofluorescence from a single air cooled laser. The EPICS XL model is ready for other multi-color applications including multiparametric DNA analysis, platelet studies, reticulocyte enumeration, cell biology/functional studies and as well as a broad range of research applications.
High volume users can utilize the XL-MCL system which offers a walk-away sample handling with a Multi Carousel Loader (MCL). This Beckman Coulter XL-MCL flow cytometer system utilizes color-differentiated fluorescence and light scatter measurements to analyze cells. The laser-based flow cytometer is an enhanced model that produces throughputs of up to 100 samples per hour. A positive bar-code identification technology and true vortex mixing prior to aspiration are combined in this feature-packed model.
