TowerCell 2-T450 is an automated incubator for life-science workflows that require controlled storage and robotic consumable access. The unit uses external circulating compressor cooling to regulate the internal environment over the specified temperature range. Rotating storage racks and an internal lifting robot allow plates or tip boxes to be retrieved without a separate external robot. A sterile water pan provides humidification, while heated-door support and a connection for dry air are used to reduce condensation. Consumable-presence sensing and barcode scanning support automated inventory identification and status tracking. Random access and in-place return allow individual consumables to move in and out of the controlled chamber as required by the workflow. Replaceable racks support SBS-format plates, deep-well plates, and tip boxes and can be customized for other formats. The incubator is intended for integration with automated liquid handling and analytical systems that require controlled incubation between process steps.
