ACUITY Steerable (CAT#: AM-IA-0015-LC)

ACUITYTM Steerable manufactured by Boston Scientific provides chronic left ventricular bipolar pacing and perception. The leads have a cross-wire design with an IS-1 bipolar connector and are eluted with a steroid between the proximal and tip electrodes. The lead is fixed with J-shaped fixings, and the electrodes are coated with IROX coating (iridium oxide). Placement is realized by inserting a guide wire into the coronary sinus and placing it into a branch of a heart vein by a stylet or over-the-wire. ACUITY controllable leads are used with compatible pulse generators.
