The Agilent Seahorse XF Pro analyzer measures and reports the oxygen consumption rate (OCR), proton release rate (PER) or extracellular acidification rate (ECAR) and ATP production rate of living cells in a 96-well specification. The analyzer offers superior OCR accuracy at low rates, proven instrument performance, optimized temperature control, and compatibility with automation.
OCR, PER, and ATP production rates are key measures of energy metabolism and important indicators of mitochondrial health, toxicity, glycolysis, and overall cellular function/dysfunction. These results can be combined to characterize the metabolic function of cultured cells and samples in vitro at the systemic level.
The XF Pro analyzer is also equipped with advanced software, standardized workflows and advanced data analysis capabilities provided by Agilent's Seahorse Analytics software. These features greatly simplify the entire XF inspection process, from inspection design to data QC and interpretation.
