Description

The Aegivast™ ACE vent filter is designed for sterile gas filtration and venting in biopharmaceutical applications. It is suitable for bioreactors, fermenters, sterile media storage tanks, compressed air, and small container venting. The filter is available in syringe and disc-style formats and uses 0.2 μm hydrophobic PTFE, hydrophobic PVDF, or hydrophobic PES membranes. The polypropylene housing provides clean material compatibility, and multiple connector formats are available, including Luer, stepped hose barb, and small hose barb interfaces. The filter supports autoclave sterilization, gamma irradiation sterilization, or pre-sterile configurations depending on the model.
