Whatman® Qualitative Filter Paper for Technical Use, Grade 1575, model 10314916 is manufactured by Cytiva. This product has high wet strength due to the addition of a small amount of chemically stable resin. Normal qualitative application will not introduce any obvious impurities into the filtrate. However, the resin does contain nitrogen, so these grades should not be used in Kjeldahl method, etc. Some wet reinforcement grades can be used in a folded form.
