The Whatman^® Glass Microfiber Filters, Grade GF/F manufactured by Whatman can rapidly and effectively retain fine particles as small as 0.7 μm. The filters are suitable for binding and purification of DNA and filtration of finely precipitated proteins. When using with GF/D, the filters can be used as a prefilter for clarification of biochemical solutions and fluids, and nucleic acids which is difficult to filter.
