The WGH6440 is a four-element flame photometer for potassium, sodium, lithium, and calcium. It measures element concentration from the intensity of characteristic flame emission. The instrument can display up to three elements in any selected combination at one time. Its LCD and menu-operated keyboard support convenient method setup. Automatic correlation calculation assists with calibration and curve assessment. Standard curves can be saved for repeated analytical use. Single-point correction provides an additional option for routine calibration adjustment. Flame intensity can be selected in advance, and flame-out protection safeguards operation. A moisture separator and RS232 interface support stable gas handling and connection to a computer or printer.
