The FREEZON 28T is a vacuum freeze dryer for laboratory freeze-drying and small-scale production workflows. It removes water from frozen samples by sublimation under reduced pressure to support preservation and later reconstitution. The system is intended for medical, pharmaceutical, biological, chemical, and food-related materials. A refrigerated cold trap condenses released vapor and protects the vacuum system during drying. Touch-screen and programmable control functions support operation, monitoring, data recording, and routine process management. Vacuum-protection and power-loss functions are incorporated to help protect samples and system components. Depending on the model, the drying configuration uses trays, manifold flask ports, a stoppering arrangement, or a chamber-style enclosure. The refrigeration, vacuum, and drying components are integrated into a coordinated system for routine freeze-drying applications.
