Description

The instrument is a probe-type ultrasonic processor for cell disruption, homogenization, and dispersion. A powered transducer drives a sonication probe that transfers acoustic energy directly into the sample. The model range provides several output-power levels for different sample volumes. Pulse-duty settings allow active sonication and pause periods to be adjusted. Interchangeable probe diameters support different vessel sizes and processing conditions. Electronic controls regulate ultrasonic output during repeated laboratory procedures. The direct-immersion configuration concentrates acoustic energy in the selected sample volume. The system is suitable for cell lysis, dispersion, emulsification, and related sample-preparation work.
