The This system is an ultrasonic processor for cell disruption, homogenization, dispersion, extraction, emulsification, degassing, and related liquid treatments. It generates high-intensity ultrasound in liquid samples to create cavitation and associated shear forces. The instrument can be used with biological tissues, cells, bacteria, spores, and a range of material samples. It is also suitable for dispersion of nanomaterials and for homogenization or disintegration of soil, rock, metal, and particulate samples. Digital control allows operating parameters to be set and monitored during processing. The integrated configuration combines the ultrasonic power section with an acoustic enclosure to reduce workspace requirements. Interchangeable horns support adaptation to different sample volumes and processing needs.
