This weak cation-exchange chromatography column is designed for analytical separation of proteins. Its weak cation-exchange chemistry provides charge selectivity different from strong sulfonic-acid columns. The column is suitable for monoclonal-antibody variant analysis. It can also support screening of candidate biopharmaceutical proteins. Selected applications include real-time monitoring of PEGylated-protein reactions. Two formats are available for rapid or higher-resolution operation. The 3.5 cm column uses 10 µm particles, while the 10 cm column uses 7 µm particles.
