This removable heating jacket is designed to maintain vent filters and filter housings at a controlled temperature. It helps prevent condensate accumulation and reduces conditions that can support microbial growth. The system is suitable for purified-water tanks, water-for-injection tanks, stills, preparation vessels, and lyophilizer vent filters. Segmented heater power reduces excessive temperature differences between the upper and lower portions of the cartridge. An integrated overtemperature breaker interrupts heating if the temperature rises above the safety limit. Porous insulation reduces heat loss and keeps the jacket exterior near ambient temperature. A PTFE-covered hook-and-loop fastening system allows convenient installation and removal. The controller separately displays the measured heating temperature and selected setpoint. Type A and Type B insulation structures are available in 5-, 10-, and 20-inch sizes.
