Multifunctional transfer caps manufactured from Nest Scientific allow for the convenient transfer of liquid in and out of Erlenmeyer flasks which greatly reduces the risk of contamination. The cap comes with pre-assembled tubing, connectors and gas exchange filters for convenience. The cap features a built-in hydrophobic membrane for enhanced gas exchange. This means the shaker flask can be placed directly into an incubator, no need to change vessels. The external transfer tube features a T-junction with a one-way Luer lock sampling valve. This allows small samples to be removed for testing. It also solves the problem of liquid remaining in the tubing after use. Simply attach a Luer lock syringe and draw off the excess liquid.
