Excelsior ES processors are built for better workflow and results. With a circular design, the tissue processing system has greater temperature uniformity, which is achieved due to continuous agitation that allows the reagents to freely circulate around the specimen. Baskets are also designed to maximize reagent penetration into surrounding specimens, preventing cassette clumping. Additionally, the glass lid allows viewing during processing.

The system has built-in downdraft when the reaction chamber lid is open, minimizing operator exposure to hazardous vapors.
