TAP Biosystems' specialists will be on the booth to explain how the 96-well version of the award winning RAFT System can produce realistic 3D tissue models using a wide range of cell types and cell seeding densities, as well as co-cultured layers of different cell types. They will also discuss why the transparent tissue models generated would be ideal for improving cell-based secondary screening applications using standard analytical techniques including light or confocal microscopy, fluorescence, histology and transcriptomic assays.

The RAFT System is based on a novel, patented process using collagen to mimic closely an in vivo environment. The system combines workstation, consumables and reagents to allow multi-cellular 3D tissue models to be made rapidly and consistently in standard plate formats. The system range now includes 12, 24 and 96 well plates and a 24 well system with permeable membrane inserts for barrier assays.

TAP Biosystems SelecT MFCD 0001 Miscellaneous Lab Equipment: This MFCD unit was made for the SelecT system by TAP Biosystems, originally the Automation Partnership. This unit was installed, tested and maintained under a preventative maintenance service program and is in excellent condition. This unit was never used for production after it was installed. However, was PM's on a scheduled PM program by OEM. This was at a price of around $125,000 when purchased. This is a hard-to-find item.
