Sterile Paddle Homogenizer, 2-450 mL (CAT#: STEM-AL2-4491-ZJF)

The instrument is a paddle homogenizer for preparation of samples in disposable sterile bags. Opposing mechanical paddles repeatedly compress the bag to mix and homogenize its contents. The sample remains enclosed throughout processing and does not contact the internal mechanism. Operating time and paddle speed can be adjusted for different sample types. The gap between the paddles can also be changed to suit the bag and material volume. A transparent window allows the homogenization process to be observed. The fully opening access door simplifies placement of bags and cleaning of the chamber. The instrument is suited to microbiology and other sample-preparation workflows where closed-bag homogenization is required.
