Static Water-Bath Collector JSY-1, 0.01-10 rpm (CAT#: STEM-AL-5566-ZJF)

The JSY-1 is a laboratory static water-bath collector designed for collecting hydrophobic nanofiber bundles as low-twist yarn. It deposits electrospun fibers onto a water surface before transferring them to a take-up roll. The take-up unit rotates and reciprocates to collect the fiber bundle in a controlled manner. A stainless-steel bath provides the liquid collection surface. A drip tray captures water carried from the bath by the collected material. Polypropylene base and cover components reduce corrosion and electric-field interference. A general-purpose control box provides local adjustment of the take-up motion. The modular unit can operate independently or inside an electrospinning enclosure.
