Stainless Steel Pleated Filter Cartridge, 1-200 µm (CAT#: STEM-BC-2909-ZJF)

This stainless steel pleated cartridge is designed for precision filtration under demanding temperature, pressure, and chemical conditions. It uses one or more layers of woven stainless steel mesh as the filtration medium. Typical construction incorporates three to five graduated mesh layers formed into a pleated structure. Pleating increases the available filtration area compared with a similarly sized powder-sintered element. The graduated mesh arrangement creates a depth-like pore structure for improved contaminant retention. The metallic media do not release fibers into the process stream. High porosity supports substantial flow and contaminant-holding capacity. The cartridge is suitable for viscous liquids, chemically complex fluids, and high-temperature industrial processes. Multiple lengths and interface formats allow installation in compatible filter housings.
