ST-R200 is a cutting mill designed for rapid size reduction and homogenization of soft, tough, elastic, and fibrous materials. Sample enters the chamber through an anti-rebound feed hopper. A rotating cutter acts against fixed cutting edges to shear the material. The bottom sieve determines the discharged particle size. The cutting process limits residence time and helps reduce heat generation. Different rotors, sieves, hoppers, and collection containers support varied applications. The chamber opens for tool-free removal of the rotor and sieve. Reverse operation and optional cooling support difficult or heat-sensitive samples. The mill provides controlled batch or continuous processing within the stated throughput range.
