The equipped 6-position rotor accepts 15ml or 10ml tube with round or conical bottom. Adapters for smaller tube sizes are provided separately. The control panel of the centrifuge has easy knobs and a large digital display that can show time and speed. The time can be set to 30 seconds and can be set to the "on" position for continuous operation. Spectrafuge 6C is the smallest centrifuge in its class. The 8x9 inch footprint makes it suitable for almost all laboratories and easy to be transported between laboratories.
