Pearl^TM provided by Specac Ltd. is a high specification liquid transmission accessory designed for near-infrared and mid-infrared laboratory spectral sample analysis. This accessory contains Specac's innovative Oyster Cell component to keep your sample in a horizontal plane. The Pearl^TM and Oyster Cell are designed to quickly and easily apply samples and clean between samples. The complete Oyster liquid cell contains separate top and bottom window component that are combined to create a defined, consistent and repeatable light path for the liquid cell to contain the liquid sample between the internal contacting window surfaces. Oyster cell can provide two different types (wedge or parallel angle) complete liquid cell assembly equipped with optional ZnSe or CaF₂ window material. Oyster top window assembly equipped with a specific window material are common to all complete Oyster cell provided. The oyster bottom window assembly can be used as an option for installing ZnSe or CaF₂ window materials in parallel or wedge angle window settings. The pathlength can be selected from 25, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 um.
