Description

Non-invasive, online real-time monitoring of biomass in shake flask systems.
The CGQ system produced by aquila biolabs is an online real-time monitoring equipment for biomass monitoring in shake flasks. It is not necessary to take the shake flask out of the shaker or stop the shaker during measurement. The CGQ system measures biomass concentration automatically and non-invasively by means of optical measurement technology. Therefore, a highly accurate microbial growth kinetics curve can be obtained through the measurement results.
The four major components of the CGQ system:
1. The sensor board is installed under the shake flask for non-invasive measurement of biomass. There are 5 sizes to match shake flasks of different specifications for selection.
2. Each shaker flask is covered with a light shield to ensure the accuracy and sensitivity of the measurement.
3. Can be connected to the signal acquisition base of 8 or 16 shake flasks, and send the data to the cgQuant software.
4. The cgQuant software analyzes and visualizes the data of the shake flask monitoring.
Applicable shake flasks and trays: Suitable for glass and disposable shake flasks (including shake flasks with and without spoilers), spring clamps and standard trays and sticky pads.
