The Shandon Variistain Gemini Slide Stainer is designed for high throughput, precision, safety, durability and ultimate flexibility in histology and cytology staining applications. This Shandon dyeing machine features on-demand load multi-baskets and programs, power outage backup and built-in fume control to make dyeing easier, faster and safer.

Varistain Gemini comes with powerful, easy-to-use software. With the click of a button, the software schedules runs, dispenses reagents, optimizes reagent plans, and calculates the most efficient routes for each protocol. Varistan's slide stainer also graphically displays the progress of each basket and a text summary on the crew's VGA monitor. In addition to the suggested staining schemes, Gemini can memorize 50 staining procedures.

With automatic dispensing capability, the Shandon Gemini slide stainer optimizes reagents and efficiently utilizes available staining stations by calculating the fastest throughput path with the fewest moves for each basket. Additionally, its emergency start feature gives users the opportunity to prioritize "emergency" baskets over those already in process.

Designed with a user-friendly control panel, two loading doors and two unloading doors, the Shandong Varistan Twin Dyeing Machine combines ergonomics with enhanced operator safety. Along with 6 water stations and 26 reagent stations, the slider stain has fume control features and battery backup for 40 minutes of power in case of a power outage.
