The SelectPrep sample-preparation consumables comprise multiple solid-phase extraction sorbent chemistries. HLB combines hydrophilic and hydrophobic functional groups for balanced retention across polar and nonpolar analytes. MCX and MAX provide strong cation-exchange and strong anion-exchange behavior respectively. WCX and WAX provide weak cation-exchange and weak anion-exchange behavior for charge-selective cleanup. Silica, C18, PSA, NH2, Florisil, and acidic, neutral, or basic alumina phases provide additional normal-phase, reversed-phase, polar, and ion-exchange mechanisms. The NH2 sorbent is listed with a pKa value of 9.8 and can act as a weaker anion exchanger. Mixed-bed GCB/NH2 and GCB/PSA configurations combine graphitized carbon with amino-type sorbents for multi-interference cleanup. The family is intended for enrichment, purification, and matrix cleanup across food, biological, water, cosmetic, and related analytical samples.
