Safesatable SHB is a hydrophilic PTFE sterilizing filter designed for chemically challenging liquid filtration. It is suitable for sterile filtration of organic compounds, disinfectant solutions, strong acids, strong alkalis, and high-temperature filtration applications. The hydrophilic PTFE membrane provides broad chemical compatibility without requiring a hydrophobic membrane wetting step. The filter uses polypropylene support layers and polypropylene structural components. Cartridge formats include PBT interface liners and multiple sealing material options. Capsule formats provide additional connection and sterilization choices. The product supports integrity testing and unique serial number traceability. Sterilization compatibility varies by cartridge or capsule format.
