Uncovered Standard Foam is charcoal colored, open cell foam which is radiolucent, fire retardant and economic, ideal for general positioning.
Ultra Foam is Firm, charcoal colored, closed cell foam which is resistant to fluid absorption/contamination, fire retardant, certain items may require gluing which could attenuate.
ScanCoat Black is the state of the art sprayed vinyl coating which withstands tearing or peeling and is resistant to skid, fluid absorption/contamination, very low attenuation. Please note the ScanCoat coverings can NOT be used in CT applications.
