Description

This 14# PTFE stirring stopper is designed to seal laboratory vessels during mechanical stirring. An embedded O-ring maintains the sealing performance of the system. The low-friction contact between the stopper and stirring shaft allows smooth rotation. PTFE construction provides resistance to deformation during routine use. The material can withstand operating temperatures up to 280°C. It remains chemically inert toward most acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. The stopper also retains mechanical toughness at temperatures as low as -196°C. Its low surface tension provides nonstick performance and supports convenient cleaning.
