PTFE Fermentation-Tank Vent Cartridge, 0.22 µm (CAT#: STEM-BC-2999-ZJF)

This vent cartridge is designed for sterile intake and exhaust filtration on fermentation and cultivation tanks. It uses a PTFE membrane with imported flow-distribution layers and a polypropylene or stainless-steel-lined support structure. The naturally hydrophobic membrane supports gas flow while retaining fine particles and microorganisms. Pleating provides a large effective filtration area for repeated tank breathing cycles. The cartridge is assembled without adhesives and is designed to prevent media shedding. Strong chemical compatibility supports exposure to ozone, solvents, and corrosive process environments. The 0.22 µm configuration is suitable for sterile venting and compressed-gas applications. Every completed cartridge undergoes integrity testing before release.
