PROTEINDEX™ HIC media are Butyl Sepharose 4 Fast Flow, Octyl Sepharose 4 Fast Flow, Phenyl Sepharose 6 Fast Flow (low phenyl) and Phenyl Sepharose 6 Fast Flow (high phenyl) based on their Hydrophobic for high-throughput, high-resolution, high-capacity separations of proteins and other biomolecules.

The dynamic binding capacity of HIC media depends on factors such as protein properties, salt type and concentration, presence of detergents, flow rate, temperature, and pH, but also on the nature of the media. The base matrix of Marvelgent ProteIndex™ is highly cross-linked agarose, which provides high efficiency and superior physical and chemical stability for laboratory-scale and process-scale applications.
