The programmable-temperature spray chamber is an accessory for controlled aerosol conditioning before elemental analysis. An integrated semiconductor temperature-control device automatically regulates the chamber temperature. The source lists a selectable operating range from -10 to +60 °C. The chamber can be controlled from a computer through either Bluetooth or USB communication. A cyclonic chamber is enclosed in a thermally conductive polymer to support temperature uniformity and analytical stability. The design includes rapid rinsing for efficient cleaning between samples. Maintaining a stable spray-chamber temperature is intended to improve long-term instrumental stability. The adjustable temperature can also be used to optimize sensitivity for sample-limited analytical applications.
