Description

The HT-1 is a laboratory programmable precision motion controller designed for producing controlled horizontal linear motion. It provides reciprocating, intermittent, variable-stroke, and multistep movement along a horizontal axis. A fixture can be attached to the support platform to carry a nozzle, dispensing target, or other laboratory object. The controller can support electrospinning-nozzle travel, metered liquid addition, and non-linear three-dimensional printing tasks. An independent control unit allows the mechanism to be positioned on either side of the work area. Speed and stroke settings define the motion profile for the mounted object. A touch-screen interface provides local parameter entry and operating feedback. The device is suitable for repeatable automated movement in compact laboratory setups.
