The ProDIGITAL ODO/T Cable Assembly manufactured by YSI is a probe and cable assembly with integral optical dissolved oxygen and temperature sensors for the ProSolo, ProSwap, and ProDSS handhelds.
Pre-assembled ProSolo ODO/T kits are available.
With integral digital sensors, the ODO/T is plug-and-play, thereby minimizing setup time. Due to the ProDIGITAL technology, the handheld can automatically recognize connected sensors, so there is no need to tell the instrument what sensors are connected.
As a non-consumptive technology, optical dissolving oxygen (ODO) does not consume oxygen during measurement. There is no flow dependence and no stirring is required, resulting in the most accurate DO measurements available from a probe. ODO sensors are not susceptible to interference from other gases, drift less, and maintain calibration longer than membrane-covered sensors. With a simple, threaded optical cap that is guaranteed for at least two years, maintenance is a breeze.
