PL-XTR Robotic Sample Handling System is manufactured by Agilent Technologies, PL-XTR is an advanced sample processing system that can be connected to any GPC system. The dual-arm robot can carry out sample dilution and injection under the condition of ambient temperature up to 220°C. Vials filled with samples are filled with 48 volume blocks in an X-Y array. The robotic arm injects a defined volume of solvent into the vial, and then controls the heating and optional stirring of the vial to achieve the programmed dissolution time. After the dissolution is complete, the solution is delivered to the GPC chromatograph through an onboard heated injection valve and a compact heated transmission line.
