Paradigm™ Low Retention Filtered Tip manufactured by Alpha Laboratories is made from a specially formulated hydrophobic resin to ensure less fluid retention and sample loss than standard tips, making it ideal for working with particularly viscous liquids. Paradigm™ Low Retention Filtered Tip features a high density polyethylene (HDPE) filter to prevent cross contamination of sample caused by aerosol and other liquid contaminants. The filter is manufactured with hydrophobic material without any additives and will not absorb or contaminate samples. The cleaner liquid release also means that less time is wasted waiting for that final drop to fall from the end of the tip. Furthermore, the thinner walls and finely tapered tip construction eliminates the need to touch off against the vessel wall. Smaller volumes can be confidently managed without compromising pipetting precision and accuracy.
